The Index of Pallet, including fumigation compressed wood pallet

Data in the third quarter of 2020 showed that the price of pallets in various categories performed unevenly. Among them, the prices of wooden pallets were running smoothly, while the prices of metal pallets and plastic pallets were affected by the price changes of upstream raw materials. In the third quarter, the pallet industry's prosperity continued to develop, and the prosperity index continued to rise. In September, it closed at 114.00 points, the highest value in the past six months. 

This report analyzes the operation of the pallet industry in the third quarter of 2020 based on the operation trend of the pallet price index and the prosperity index, and draws three main conclusions: (1) Affected by the impact of the epidemic, companies in some regions have repeatedly "suspended production and resumed production", and the price of wood has been lower than the level of the same period last year, resulting in a decline in the price of wooden pallets compared with the same period last year. (2) Raw material prices fluctuated, causing the price trend of metal pallets and plastic pallets to rise and fall. (3) The industry's prosperity continued to improve, and the operating conditions and confidence of the enterprises had recovered significantly. 

In the future, in the context of the post-epidemic situation, the pallet industry will still need to fully tap existing resources and extend its business scope. 1. From January to April, the price of solid wood pallets continued to decline, and the index closed at 97.61 points in April. Subsequently, although the price of solid wood pallets rose somewhat, the range was relatively small. , And finally closed at 97.64 points in June, down 0.19 percentage points from the beginning of the year. The price index of fumigation-free compressed wood pallet fluctuated in the first half of the year, and closed at 109.31 points in June, an increase of 0.30 percentage points from the beginning of the year. 

The demand of the compressed wood pallet keeps increasing for its economic, fumigation free feature.
